That Was The Summer That Was

That was the summer that was, it’s over let it go to paraphrase the sixties satirical TV series. But I can’t let it go without a final salute;

First there were animals to wrangle.

  1. Oh, that’s you!! I think that’s the first time I’ve seen a picture ❀
    Sounds like you had a full summer… Yeah, i was thinking the other day, fall is really here ;____;
    Good to see a post from you–and I hope you're well.

  2. The real face of Ziggy – or a clever disguise??

    I especially like your picture with the knight, although I don’t think I’d like to run into him in the dark. That helmet is scary! πŸ˜‰

  3. Oh Ziggy! I’m glad I haven’t missed a whole lot while I’ve been away doing nothing much. Sounds like your summer’s been exciting, plus skinny dog says you’ve been busy weaving tales off-blog too! Very interested to get a whiff of a new tale πŸ™‚
    …and either these are lovely photos of you, or you’ve taken a shine to a smiley lady who was also having a lot of fun this summer. Maybe the inside of the book sleeve enveloping the eagerly awaited book will reveal all if we are patient πŸ˜›

  4. Haha. Great and fun post!
    But here in the southern hemisphere it is more about the summer to come, rather than the one just gone. Camping, Kayaking, Hiking … that’s the plan!
